Simply put no. A shed is considered a “Temporary Construction” that can be removed easily if need be and will not require planning permission. However, if you require a shed with a height of 2.5 metres or above, with a total floor area greater than 30 square metres, or you are looking to erect your shed where it will obstruct a neighbour’s view you may need planning permission. If this is the case, we recommend that you contact your local council first.

Yes! All our sheds and timber buildings are made to order and not mass produced as in many cases. Therefore, if you require a bespoke shed or timber building simply contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

This all depends on what type of shed or timber building you need and your individual requirements. However, our shed and timber building supply and installation prices are extremely competitive, and we provide FREE, no obligation quotations.

We screw the panels and floor together so our sheds can be dismantled and moved if necessary. However, on larger sheds the roof would also need to be dismantled.

Yes. All our sheds and timber buildings come complete with a floor unless otherwise stated. Our floors are made from 18mm tongue and grooved floorboards on 45mm x 45mm runners.

Yes. All our sheds come with one window. We use glass as standard, but we can also use Perspex. We can also install additional windows to suit your individual requirements for a small additional cost.

Our standard door opening is 5 feet 9 inches high by 2 feet 6 inches wide (1,750mm x 700mm). However, this can be altered to suit your individual needs and requirements.

We can also upgrade the boards to 12mm OSB roofing boards and an EPDM Firestone rubber roof, which come with a 20 year manufacturer’s material warranty.

We prefer to put your shed on a level concrete or slabbed base. However, we can supply and fit a level timber base for an additional cost if needed.

Yes. The treatment stops the wood from rotting, but further treatments make the shed water repellent. Additional treatments will therefore not only prolong the life of your shed, or timber building, but will also improve its appearance over the years.
